A blog category for short site-news posts — “new tool: X,” “upcoming change,” “heads up.”

The concept

Separate from the main blog (which is longer-form thinking and chapter offshoots). Announcements are punchy: paragraph, sometimes a screenshot, link to whatever launched. Pairs naturally with What’s New — announcements feed it.

Status

Not started. Implementation is a Ghost tag (#announcement) + a routes.yaml addition for the /news/ collection.
