Mental clutter as ambient noise. Watch it drift past. Do nothing.

The concept

A canvas where common drinking-thoughts (“just one wouldn’t hurt,” “this is so unfair,” “i’m missing out”) drift across, slowly fade, and disappear on their own. The user observes. The lesson is the demonstration: the thoughts pass without you having to fight them.

Status

Concept locked. An earlier draft had a catch-and-pin mechanic — wrong direction. The correct mechanic is passive: thoughts arrive, drift, fade. User does nothing. The earlier wrong-mechanic draft is archived — its visual treatment is still reusable.

Next steps

Design brief sent (May 16). Two visual treatments to prototype: drifting cursive vs. particle text vs. letterpress smudges. Editorial will pick after seeing them.
