Rearrange Your World
A cue audit

Rearrange Your World

Little things in your world can push you back towards drinking. "Environmental cues" can nudge you to drink subconsciously, even if you don't really notice that you're being affected. So let's go through your living space, look for any cues that might be affecting you, and think about what you can do to disrupt them.

1 Pick a category. Look around (or imagine yourself there).
2 Spot one thing — an object, routine, or memory — that's still tied to drinking.
3 Pair it with one specific thing you'll do to disrupt it. Save it. Repeat.
4 End with a real list of moves you can actually do this week. Print it, save it, knock them off.

Imagine you are in this place. What is connected to drinking for you? Is there anything you can do about that — even just a little change can break the connection. If not, just note that it exists and you'll get a list of them all later.
