MI Letter — follow-up question layer

The concept

After the user writes their letter, before they send it, the widget asks a small follow-up question (or three) drawn from Motivational Interviewing — the technique used in real-life addiction counseling to surface someone’s own reasons for change.

Example: after writing “I want to be the dad who shows up for soccer practice,” the widget asks — “What does that look like, specifically? What changes for you when you show up?” The user’s answer goes back into the letter.
